করোনাভাইরাসের সংক্রমণে রাশ টানতে দেওয়া আজ ২২ এপ্রিল থেকে দেয়া দ্বিতীয় মেয়াদের ‘কঠোর লকডাউনে’ ১৩ দফা বিধি-নিষেধ থাকলেও সিলেট নগরে সাধারণ মানুষের চলাচল বেড়েছে। অন্যান্য দিনের চেয়ে রাস্তায় যানবাহনের সংখ্যাও ছিল তুলনামূলক বেশি।
বৃহস্পতিবার (২২ এপ্রিল) সকাল থেকে সিলেট নগরীর ব্যস্ততম বন্দর বাজার (কোর্ট পয়েন্ট), আম্বরখানা, চৌহাট্টা, রিকাবিবাজার, জিন্দাবাজার, উপশহর, টিলাগড়, শিবগঞ্জ, নাইওরপুল, মেডিকেল, মদিনা মার্কেট, পাঠানটুলা এলাকাসহ নগরী সকল রাস্তায় সব ধরনের যানবাহন চলতে দেখা গেছে।
নগরের প্রতিটি পয়েন্টে চেকপোস্ট আগের মতো থাকলেও আইন-শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী বাহিনীর পর্যবেক্ষণ ছিল কিছুটা শিথিল। গত আট দিনের তুলনায় সড়কে মোটরসাইকেল, গাড়ি, পিকআপ, সিএনজি অটোরিকশা, রিকশার সংখ্যাও বেশি দেখা গেছে। কঠোর বিধিনিষেধের শুরুতে যেমন চেকিং হতো, সেটি অনেকটাই চলছে ঢিমেতালে।
এদিকে মূল সড়কগুলোতে মানুষের উপস্থিতি তুলনামূলক কম হলেও বেশিরভাগ অলিতেগলিতে দেখা যাচ্ছে মানুষের উপড়েপড়া ভিড়। কোথাও স্বাস্থ্যবিধির কোনো বালাই নেই, যে যার মতো বের হচ্ছে। কোথাও কোথাও চলছে আড্ডাবাজি।
